Today was the first Saturday in a long time we didn't have rain, other engagements, or sickness so it was with great anticipation we tackled a few things inside & out at home =]
1- the final curtain rod was hung in the living room. I know, we only have 3 windows, but my carpenter never seemed to have the right tool for the job when he actually had a moment to do it. So it sat. For forever it seemed =]
2- Our Target is remodeling to bring in groceries (yay!) & so everything it seems is on clearance. Including these super-cute toy organizers I couldn't put back on the shelf. The shelf was on sale, too, so it seemed a win-win =]
3- Then we all headed outside to work on the shelving system/fence. C bought a used concrete mixer from a client last week which was perfect timing to use today- thank you, Jesus! =]
4- I got busy removing all the unsightly bricks around the flower beds (a huge update!)

Z was helping me in between bike rides but then got sidetracked by all the bugs he found in the bricks. Go figure. (J was helping, too, I just didn't get him on 'film' =])

We finished the day by bbqing A1 burgers & a stroll through Home Depot to get more concrete mix- C is still outside doing the last of the pillars. Overall, we got a lot done & we stayed together; now I'm ready to tuck myself in bed with a good book =] Night~

Looks like wonderful family time! The yard and flowerbeds are looking great, appears Spring has arrived for you guys, as for us, it is snowing again :{ . I met another woman from Santa Maria yesterday...looks like everyone is moving here from there, (hint, hint)! :D Love you, Mom & Dad~
