Charles & I had never been to SM's parade before & since we live 3 blocks from it, it seemed a shame not to check it out. It was soooo very warm but we braved it and walked the few blocks
and then found a little tree to sit under while the boys tried climbing the fence on the median.
But by the end, they weren't climbing anymore =] Did I mention it was hot??
Remember when parade people used to throw candy? That would've been fun =] Instead we were handed toothbrushes. Zeke was super excited and I guess it's healthier than candy... but funner?

I would have laughed at the toothbrush giveaway, too, but appreciated the thoughtful alternative to candy! It seems like they get so much candy from everywhere!
That is so sweet, Jeremiah is such a good brother keeping Zeke company! I LOVE IT! And the picture with him walking with his hands in his pockets..he looks like a little man! :)
