I have a blog friend whom I've never met in person. I don't even remember which friend I found her through. She's cool & that's all that matters :) She is moving with her family soon to Thailand as missionaries and just recently posted a blog about what to bring with her.... & it reminded me of what this household is going through. (though we are in no way facing what she is)
With the 'Green Houses' we were downsizing but not too much as there was a big garage & lots of storage; but now with our new house we're in escrow with, it's a 1/3 of the size we're in now, 1/2 the garage space, & barely any storage.
So for the past few months, I'd downsize a cabinet- garage sale? keep? garbage?- thinking I was only needing to part with a few things, but now knowing we need to part with a lot.
But! My above mentioned friend hit the nail on the head- she's absolutely right. And you can read her thoughts here.
