This little guy, I am convinced, is somehow related to the energizer bunny. Constant moving and the occasional cat nap are what he enjoys. And even though it's super frustrating because I don't get any alone time most days, how can you get mad at those bright blue eyes and ready smile??He did, however, for the first time in weeks, take a nap today while Zeke was still awake which gave us (Zeke n I) an opportunity to spend some rare one on one time.
[One of my goals this month is to empty the freezer of the randomness that fills it. And the cookie dough from a fundraiser was chosen today]
So we baked cookies :) And while we guarded the oven and watched them puff up and brown, we enjoyed some yogurt :)
In other news, Zeke peed his pants twice this week. No, we aren't potty training. He even told me he needed a diaper change both times but then I got distracted and all of a sudden his pants were sopping wet. He might be ready for potty training but I don't think I am.
Zeke's newest fun thing is him counting to 3- we do it for everything it seems. Before he jumps into our arms, before I chase him, it works for anything :) The other day we were in his room and he was on his toddler bed and talking but I wasn't listening (I know, it's just wrong!) and I looked at him just in time for him to jump off and land at my feet with a belly flop. Apparently he was counting while I wasn't listening 
and then had the trust in me to catch him while I wasn't watching. He came out fine, shocked at my failure more than anything I think. I'm sorry to say I'm still giggling over the image.
