Oi! We hit terrible 2's, terrible 3's, no naps, & potty training 2 boys all at once & somethings just got ignored: like blogging. It has been one tough month for me and I hope I learn what needs to be learned so we can just move on to peace =] But as we've been learning, a few fun things have taken place...
2) The boys enjoyed their first movie on the big screen- Hotel For Dogs was showing for free =]
3) My boys could not be more opposite on walks: Z's go, go, go! and J's hum-de-dum let's look at the bugs =] (a little frustrating at times, I'll admit!)
4) A friend at church invited us over for plants- lots of them! She has a fun little yard with lots of fruits, veggies, flowers, & 3 chickens =] She piled my car high with cuttings & I've been busy since filling my ugly flower beds with fuschias, begonias, willowy trees, & a few more varieties I cannot for the life of me remember what they're called =] I'm just happy to have color around the yard =]
5) We celebrated J's 2nd birthday! Char bbq'd ribs (mmmm)
6) Forever ago I planted these bulbs at the old house & apparently they love this place better as I'm getting my first bloom =] I absolutely love the smell of tuberoses!
7) Isn't he the cutest pb & j maker you've ever seen??
8) We finally made it to the park today... it's been forever given the fact that Z was in the habit of going in his pants every time he played on the slides (& there's nothing like seeing a slide turned into a fountain by your own son!). We had a great time without mishap so we'll probably start adding the park back into our weekly schedule =]
9) We're back to "class"! It's not much, but I think the boys were missing it =]
10) It's the end of naptime & Z comes out of the room. Me: "Are you done napping?" Z: "Yes, I've grown." Me: "Did you get some rest?" Z: "Yes, I'm big". Crazy kid... He might be right, though, as some of his 2T shirts are looking like muscle shirts lately =]
