fun, fun, fun!

I dropped the boys off at Grandma's and hit the road. With only two "quick" stops to make, I dressed up a little, enjoying the freedom of being by myself & the assurance that lunch most likely will not be added to my attire in the form of a hand print =] It had been a while since I've worn high heels and I was liking the feeling while slowly savoring Target... I did say quick, didn't I? Well, once in there it didn't turn out to be. Up and down every aisle looking at all the things I normally can't look at with 2 impatient and always hungry boys.

Ever pray before entering a store? I always do and have learned that God honors a heart wanting to use the resources (aka. money) He's given us to the fullest. I can tell you that every time I give the trip to Him, He's faithful to stretch every dollar =]

Take Target for instance. I've been doing laundry almost everyday to ensure Zeke has underwear to wear and on top of that I've been praying about starting Jeremiah on the potty training process tomorrow so the underwear situation was really going to be a stretch. I happened upon the boys underwear aisle and what do I find? 14 underwears for the price of 7 (if I hadn't found them on clearance). I turn the corner and also found Miah a hat (since he'll wear them now) for $1. I find that to be a blessing!

On I go to Kohl's... I didn't find what I entered for but I did come away with an outdoor thermometer I'd had my eye on a few months back for $.84 (no, there's nothing wrong with it) (yes, I had a $10 off coupon). Essentially, if I had bought it when I wanted it (instead of listening to Him), I would have spent at least $20 more. Was it necessary? No, not really. But do I find myself blessed by my Father in Heaven? Absolutely.

There's the two "quick" trips. My feet are hurting from the "great idea" of high heels. I'm on the way home. And then I remember my thoughts of the other day that I should go to Michaels if I ever find myself childless =] So I stop =]

Michael's. See the 2 scrapbooks in the pic? Yep. I've been praying about starting the boys their own picture albums. And these were a $20 savings, each!- let the fun begin!

Next door I find a store I'd never been to but let's ignore the feet for a few more minutes, shall we? Upon entering, I found an alphabet train puzzle I really liked but didn't feel rich enough for the $17 price tag. Towards the end of my tour, God brings to my attention a little shelf with that puzzle on it- marked down to $3. Someone had opened it but all the pieces were present- I can't wait to play with my boys! =]
