I love my Zeke!

He is sooo determined to master the scissors! His Grandma gave him a "Veggie Tales Art Studio" for Christmas & whenever it comes out he spends a good 15- 20 minutes practicing his scissor technique:


He's been saying some things lately that put a smile to my face:

• every once in a while a veggie tale character will don facial hair to play a part & today Zeke was pointing to it & exclaiming how the Pirates Who Don't Do Anything had "beards on their noses" (mustaches).


• he was sniffling earlier & I asked if his nose hurt & he said "no, but my blue eyes hurt". (someone commented a few weeks ago how blue his eyes were & he's commented on his 'blue eyes' ever since =])


• you know how the boys are enjoying the Old McDonald Had a Farm book? Well, Zeke is starting to get the hang of the words & was singing this morning: "farmer had oink oink here and farmer had oink oink there e-i-e-i-o!"


• Zeke & I had a date the other night & we went to the library. We found 2 VHSs that we figured might be cute & brought them home. After the movie, the screen went snowy- "Mom! What happened?!" and then it automatically stopped & started the loooong process of rewinding- "Mom! What's it doing?!". Apparently, the VCR era is dying =]
