June in a nutshell

Oi! June this year has been the craziest & randomnest month since Zeke was born... & I'll admit it's been fun :)

My first blueberry pie. The smiley face turned evil as it baked... and it was evil, too!

At the beginning of the month, I found cheap tickets to Montana and one week later a friend picked me & Jeremiah up from the airport and we successfully shocked the socks off my family as they didn't know we were coming :) I'd show you pictures, but they are stuck on a disc...

While we were in Montana, Zeke & Char chummed together and went on a camping trip on the way to Vegas to pick us up:

In Vegas, we enjoyed a 20,000 gallon saltwater aquarium,

the city lights from our hotel room

& the acrobatics

We didn't enjoy much else and were glad to finally head for home

Zeke refused to have anyone else pull his suitcase & I have a cute video of him here.

Home at last! Bubba went straight for the mud puddle to celebrate :)

and then we went to a bonfire with friends

mmmm. We are really enjoying fresh salads from the garden :)

This week I went to a GodChicksWomen's Conference in Pasadena & had a fabulously amazing time

and on the last night there we were surprised to find 2 hot air balloons outside ready to give short rides- unfortunately, after standing in line for 2 hours & almost reaching the front of the line, the rides were stopped. So close.

And now the boys & I are together again to enjoy a beautiful day at the park :)
