After 5 and a half years of hoping and praying (he he), I saw a sign the other day that made me give a whoop of joy! Dairy Queen is coming to town! Since I've moved here, DQ was a place I made my honey stop when going through Ventura (1 1/2 hrs south) or whomever was driving me in MT so I could get my "if-I'm-lucky-twice-a-year-fix".
The down side? I've been doing a "mall walk" (you know, pushing a stroller through the mall for an hour working up a sweat while Zeke & Bubba are entertained with the people and stores) once a week and that is where the DQ is going in: right in my line of temptation. As I'm burning calories, will I also be thinking of the blizzard of the month?
