We are determined to eat healthier this year! And with that thought, we were suckered into an info-mercial a few weeks back and bought a Jack Lalanne Juicer. Yikes! For one, I found it much cheaper the other day at Costco. And then there's the fact that we're going to go broke buying lots of fruits and veggies for just a little cup of juice! Another yikes! Not to mention I hate cleaning it. Yes, it's dishwasher safe. But I'm not big on using my dishwasher. So if you have one of these novelties and enjoy it, I am happy for you. Truly. We really wanted it to work for us, too. But I think this new baby is being sent back.

I made my first goal! Bye, bye baby fat (hopefully) !! Have you ever journaled your food? It is supposedly the #1 way to lose weight and I'm starting to believe it! By the way, did you know only a few peanut m&m's fit into a 1/4 cup which is the serving size? I wonder if it's tampering if you mash them first??
For some odd reason, I am not able to upload videos onto my blog anymore. Very frustrating. I used to all the time. And now I can't even do a 10 second clip. But I can do a 2 minute one on Facebook. Can anyone explain this to me??
As I mentioned in the last blog entry, Jeremiah is super sweet. BUT! I wasn't thinking good thoughts of him yesterday when he refused for the second day in a row not to nap. The entire day! The only time he was happy and would doze is when I was holding him. I was not happy. Poor Char. By the time he got home last night, I was done. Absolutely done.
Zeke has now accomplished the door knob. Isn't that scary?? It puts fear in my heart! All day Monday he practiced. Opened the door. Closed the door. And if it didn't open within a few second try, there were some tears. I laughed every time. Is that bad?? It was just so funny. And every time I turned around the door was closed in my face. We have had some fun times with the door lately. But it is still scary he can open any room now. Thank you, Lord, for dead bolts!
All week last week Zeke had tantrums. Monday started with at least 2 tantrums every hour but by the time we made it to Friday, we had successfully reduced it to only 4 in the whole day :) Seriously, though, by Wednesday I was starting to think he might be demon possessed. And then it got better. He was just so frustrated. He can't speak my language (no, I didn't take the time out for sign language!), objects weren't cooperating, nothing was working for him. Oi! I'm praying Jeremiah skips this whole stage! What's the chances??
We are going to the mountains again this Saturday! Hooray!! Our wood permit only has a few days left on it so we're going up and this time hoping for some serious firewood! (and of course, fun:) )
Hooray! The day Bubba turned 5 months, we also paid him off! Jeremiah is officially ours :)

I used to juice all the time. I should start that again it's just so stink'n time consuming!
~I don't have anything to say as far as the juicer ...
~no its not tampering with the m&m's if u crush them
~ what was the 1st goal
~its really hard typing with 1 hand
I think we need to have some experts over to help us try out our fireplace! we have yet to use it!
we got a juicer too and i totally agree w/ you: hard to clean, 'eats' up a lot to get a few drops and time consuming. would like to do a liquid diet some day though, it is very rewarding for your health!
But 30% more juice then other juicers!!! I watched an infomercial and learned that!
