The Prodigal Turtle

Background #1: In the Book of Luke there's a story Jesus told of a son running away from home, spending all his inheritance, and then basically crawling back home to beg his father for a job but the father forgives his son and they party and the son's place in the home is renewed.

Background #2: Almost exactly 2 months ago my turtle, Timothy, was playing in the backyard and somehow escaped and ran away...

Now the happy ending: I was playing with my other turtle, Thomas, when a movement in the backyard caught my eye- (drum roll please) and it was Timothy! He was really dirty and his claws looked as though he had been digging but, overall, he is in good health:) His place in our home is somewhat renewed: he's sharing with Thomas until we can get his home set up again.

Don't you just love happy endings??

I love happy endings, but why does it always have to happen to you! I mean hey, I have been missing things for years now and they have never turned back up(like my mind, I sure wouldn't mind having that back...Imaybe could even make sense of my life then)!

Yeah! I'm here in NC enjoying my time with my sister. Just thought I'd let you know those elusive pictures you've been looking for are finally there.
