Whew!

That was fun!

After planning for forever it seems... moving the date, planning the food, sending out invites, calling to remind, grocery shopping, cleaning the house, (this could go on!), I finally had my Pampered Chef party last night!

I haven't had a pchef party since I lived in MT- and can I tell you I forgot how much work they are?? Course, it doesn't help that Zeke's been hurting lately (I think they're growing pains) and as a result is very clingy. Or that we're in the middle of rearranging our house to match our many life projects (thank God for guest room doors that shut out the mess). Or that I'm still battling an allergy/cold thing of how long ago??.

But when friends start showing up and the sparkling cider starts pouring and the plates are filled and the laughter is flowing, it makes it worth the work. It's been a year since I've had that many people in my home (feels like yesterday!) and it was good. Poor Angela, though. (the consultant) I looked at the list of ingredients we needed and I assumed I had the flour- how can you run out of flour??- but we discovered 15 minutes before the party that I didn't have any flour. (??how??) So we sent 2 awesome friends to the store. And we started late. But it all worked out in the end:)

MMMMmmmm. I made 2 dips (1 not recommended so not included above) (the other isn't online so you'll do without it, too), 1 sandwich ring, and the chocolate molten cake was made during the party~
