It's a 'G' thing!

No. Not Gottschalks - yes, I stole their line- but God!

I've been here for 4 years now. I had to go to LA 2 years ago to get this. When we went to MT in June, we prayed for this, but it didn't happen.

Yesterday morning I was praying for a wet winter. It rains here for maybe 3 months and even with that it's spotty and not constant. It's so dry here...definitely golden! So I'm praying for full creeks, green lawns, lucious hills, wonderful rainy days.

Last night it started with a sprinkle. And by midnight (that's when we were awakened, anyway), it was raining and huge thunder! It hasn't thundered here for an estimated 6 years! How cool is that??! The storm lasted all night and it was still thundering when I was getting ready for work:) The power of our God! Isn't God awesome?

"I, too, give witness to the greatness of God, our Lord, high above all other gods. He does just as he pleases— however, wherever, whenever. He makes the weather—clouds and thunder, lightning and rain, wind pouring out of the north."

"He is your praise; he is your God, who performed for you those great and awesome wonders you saw with your own eyes."

Hurray!
